Last year, we had the privilege to have several Japanese teachers from a variety of prefectures visit our humble school. They introduced us to the education system of Japan and gave us an insight into a ‘Day in the Life’ of a typical Japanese high school student. We also learnt about the school system that differs so much to our own as shown in the table below.
As part of the ‘Day in the Life’ of the average Japanese high school student, we were introduced to the norm of cram school and the variety of after school activities that many students claim to be a part of. We were very impressed with the amount of hard work they do!
